This update includes new features, important improvements to performance, and usability, ensuring that your daily operations run seamlessly. Weβve also addressed several bug fixes to enhance stability and reliability, further strengthening DealPOS as a reliable Inventory Application for your retail business.
Improvements:
The product scanning process has been enhanced to support Hexacode scanning in addition to the existing standard Code scanning method.
This enhancement provides an alternative scanning method without changing existing workflows. Users may continue using the scanner device for code or using the RFID device for hexacode.

Hexacode
A new Location Filter has been implemented within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), allowing users to perform stock opname based on the physical storage location of items. This allows inventory counting activities to be targeted to specific storage areas within the warehouse. To use this filter, users must first create and configure a warehouse plan in the POS system. Once the warehouse plan is set up and products are mapped to their respective locations, stock opname can be filtered and performed based on those locations.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Warehouse Planning
DealPOS now allows users to create a Warehouse Plan that reflects the actual storage layout of their Store or Outlet. The warehouse structure can be configured based on the size and operational needs of each location.
A warehouse plan consists of a hierarchical location structure:
Aisle β Rack β Shelf β Bin
Once the warehouse structure has been created, users can map products to specific storage locations within the warehouse. This means every product can be assigned to the exact place where it is stored.
When performing stock opname or searching for the product, staff can immediately navigate to the assigned location instead of checking multiple storage areas. This makes inventory counting faster, more accurate, and easier to manage, especially for stores or outlets with a large number of products.
