New Feature:

• [Recalculate] Purchase Order Item

  Based on the POS v25.48 Changelog, users may observe that older purchase records display 0 values for fields such as Purchase and Purchase + Tax when viewing the Purchase Report in POS. This occurs because legacy transactions were generated using the previous cost-calculation model and therefore do not yet reflect the newly introduced discount-allocation mechanism.

  

  To update these historical entries, users can execute the Recalculate Purchase Order Item function in the Tools App. This operation applies the revised calculation logic—redistributing transaction-level discounts and recalculating item-level costs—ensuring that past records conform to the current model.

  

  Once the recalculation is complete, reopening the Purchase Report will show that fields previously displaying 0 now contain accurate values. Metrics such as Purchase and Purchase + Tax are fully updated, providing consistent and reliable cost information aligned with the latest computation standard.
